Trent came from a life of drug addiction and gang hierarchy. In 2006 God rescued Trent with a divine escape from a violent and impossible kidnapping situation, where Trent called out to God, who he didn’t know. He begged God, that if He was real, would He help him to escape? After being suddenly set free from that situation, Trent surrendered his life to the Lord in 2007 and was immediately baptised, after encountering God in a radical way through the Holy Spirit during an Alpha course.
Trent and Jade were both radically transformed. They began attending church, and they stepped into ministry and leadership. They have served as Kids and Youth ministry oversights, and have also led three Church locations with C3 Auckland. In 2017, they moved cities to plant one of those locations in Whangarei, New Zealand, where they served as the location Pastors for several years.
They have now planted multiple C3 Te Awa Campuses in Northland, which they currently oversee as senior leaders, and they are also ministering itinerantly across New Zealand and Australia.
Trent, Jade, and their children have recently relocated to the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, and they continue to carry on the Lords assignment that he has placed on them. Trent feels called to not only minister the word and the power of God in the meetings of the churches he visits, but he also feels called to connect with, and support, pastors and their families, as well as the leaders of those churches, as they build and shepherd the body of Christ.
